Sedgefield School Sport Partnership, Durham

Today I am kickstarting the GirlsActive initiative across all 10 secondary schools in the partnership.

Representatives from 4 of those schools attended the initial GirlsActive Workshop in Penrith and they are leading the day.

Schools:
7 mainstream secondary
2 secondary EBD schools with very few girls
1 secondary MLD and SLD school

All schools have been invited to send 15 girls. 3 from each year group – age spread of 11-16 years.
The schools will also produce their own short DVD as a souvenir for the girls and for them to use for promotional purposes back at school.
