Dame Kelly nominated for the 2010 England Athletics Hall of Fame

Dame Kelly is one of 12 athletes who have been nominated to join the 2010 England Athletics Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame was launched in 2008 to honour athletes who have made an outstanding contribution to the sport and is also inteneded to build their legacy in inspiring the next generation of athletes.
The nominees have been selected from a list of the most successful English athletes of the last 100 years based on performance, success and their contribution to athletics and the Hall of Fame panel have voted to decide this year’s nominees.
The public can select their top three athletes from the 12 and those with the most votes will be inducted into the 2010 England Athletics Hall of Fame.
Alongside this, the panel have this year taken the opportunity to look back at the decade that has ended (2000 – 2009) and celebrate some of the incredible performances produced by English athletes during that ten year period. Dame Kelly is one of seven athletes who are up for consideration based on their outstanding achievements during the decade.
