Hi Kelly
Been a great fan for years and followed you during your career at home and most of Europe. What a thrill it was to see you pounding home at the end of a race, bringing members of the BASC to their feet. Great also that you helped organise a celebration evening at the Sports Cafe in London quite a few years ago to say thanks to supporters of the club.
Thanks for some wonderful years and we know your acheivements came without any ‘aids’ whatsoever. The british public loved you for that.

I wanted to say thank you to Kelly for inspiring me and picking me up from hard times. I just finished reading her book and saw so much of myself in her. I am an elite 800 runner at Duke University in the USA. We have one of the top distance programs in the country. I have had a lot of personal struggles, and injury issues here so far and was close to giving up on my dream. However, Kelly has shown me that anything can happen if you never give up. I run a little bird of prey rescue from my home and have a young female sparrowhawk in i am training ready to release back to the wild. My granddaughters have come to stay (8 & 10 yrs) and they said she is really cool so I said they could name her. They said she has to be called Kelly after you as you are the coolest girl on the planet.
Just thought it deserved being mentioned that even at their ages you are their hero with your achievements.
Anyway hopefully my Kelly will make it back to the wild to become a top athelete in her own right.
