I went on a life coach course in South Africa…

22nd February
I launched the pioneering HEARTS project in London Canning Town with Mayor of Newham Zuhayb Ahmed.
HEARTS (Health, Exercise, Activity, Recognition, Training, Sport)
A large refurbished shipping container provides an unusual and quirky facility, full of sports equipment – it will bring sports and activity to young people in the area to tackle inactivity, ill health and boredom.

Book signings in Diss and Norwich as part of my new book launch.
I was in Diss in the morning with co-author Glyn Walden who is former Mayor of the town. I had a great time! A lot of people turned up at Diss bookshop to get a signed copy of the new book.

I held another book signing session Norwich Waterstone bookshop and children’s library in the afternoon. The tun out was also really heart warning, I met more great kids and adults.
My visit coincided with the announcement that nearly half of youngsters in the county do not participate in any activities outside school, so I was really pleased to see that they have setup a Norwich campaign to boost youngsters’ interest into sport.

Relaunch of Sainsbury’s Active Kids today!
I am passionate about inspiring kids to get into a more active lifestyle as I believe it will help them become happier and grow into more confident and positive adults.
The Sainsbury’s Active Kids campaign is one of many initiatives that I actively support to help improving children’s lifestyle, by promoting sport and generating money through a voucher programme for investment in sporting equipment for UK schools.

This month is the Official launch of my new book

Thursday 7th February 2008 was the Official launch day of the book.
